Lula Wilson, 76, of Petal passed away on February 19, 2020, at Forrest General Hospital. Visitation will be Monday, February 24, 202,0 from 9:30 a.m. until service at 11:30 a.m. at Moore Funeral Home in Petal, followed by burial will be in Highland Cemetery.
Mrs. Wilson was a member of Rivers of Life Church. She loved her family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Turley and Lena Parker; her husband, Burnell “Peewee” Wilson; two daughters, Joy Faye Wilson, and Joann McDonald; her son, John Newman; two granddaughters, Alicia Bates and Lula Bates; two brothers, Billy Parker and Jim Parker; and one sister, Rose Napp.
She is survived by one sister, Faye Bogg (Ogween); four grandchildren, Marc Bates, Tony Bates, Jr. (Rochelle), Charles McDonald, and Annie McDonald; and three great grandchildren.
