Graveside services for Mr. Harvey Edward Grimes, age 69, of Leakesville, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 12, 2020, at the Mt. Pisgah United Pentecostal Church Cemetery with Bro. Karl Causey and Bro. David Clark officiating.
Harvey worked for Greene County for over 26 years, currently as the road foreman for District 1. He was a master mechanic and never met a stranger. He was a faithful and dedicated member of Mt. Pisgah United Pentecostal Church where he served on the board of trustee's.
He was preceded in death by his father, George Edward Grimes and his brother, Horace Grimes.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 25 years, Deborah Grimes; his mother, Ruth Grimes of Leakesville; his sisters, Anita (Danny) Cox of Semmes, AL and Amy (Lamar) Fountain of Sand Hill; his brothers, Johnny (Flora) Grimes of Lucedale and Donny (Bleandia) Grimes of Leakesville, and an untold number of friends.
