Aundean E. Hegwood, 82, of Raleigh, Mississippi, died Sunday November 24, 2019, at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel, Mississippi. She was born Thursday, April 29, 1937, in Raleigh, Mississippi.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 27, 2019, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, November 27, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel and the burial will follow in Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery in Stringer, MS. Bro. James R. Easterling will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel is in charge of arrangements.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hurston “Bodie” Hegwood Sr; father, Charlie Buck Easterling; mother, Ruth Victoria Bowen Easterling; sisters, Roberta Whatley and Gladys Smith; brothers, Willie Ray Easterling, Hollis Easterling, Ralph Easterling, Dan Easterling, Otis Easterling and Andrew Easterling.
Survivors include her sons, Hurston “Yuddy” Hegwood Jr. (Kathy) and Charles Ray Hegwood (Terry) grandchildren, Jessica Ballard (Joel), Colton Hegwood, Christa Hegwood, Charles Ledrew Hegwood, Sandra Hegwood, Charles Phillip Hegwood, Bailey Welch, Libby Welch, Jacob Hegwood, Vama Buffington and Mary Williams.
Pallbearers will be Family and Friends.
