Mr. Daniel “Danny” Leroy Farmer, Sr, 63, of Petal passed away on October 22, 2019, at Forrest General Hospital. Visitation will be Thursday, October 24, 2019, from 1:00 p.m. until service time at 3:30 p.m. at Moore Funeral Home in Petal.
Mr. Farmer was a Mason and a Shriner. He was a dedicated sportsman who loved to hunt and fish. He was a loving husband and father, and a devoted “Paw” who was adored by his five beloved grandkids
He was preceded in death by his mother, Grace Verret; a sister, Liz Coons; and a brother, David Farmer.
He is survived by his wife, Yvette Farmer of Petal; his three children, Mary Ann (Matt) Dillon of Petal, Bridget (George) Williamson of Spanish Fort, AL, and Daniel (Ashley) Farmer, Jr. of Petal; five grandchildren, Nathan Dillon, Peyton Dillon, Anna Kathryn Dillon, Gavin Williamson, and Jillian Williamson; two sisters, Maxine Boone and Kathy Davis; and a brother, Joseph Verret, Jr.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Shriner’s Hospital for Children.
