Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 14, 2019, at Calvary Baptist Church in Seminary for Mr. James M. “Jimmy” Reid, age 63, of Ellisville who passed from this life September 12, 2019, at his residence. Bro. Steve MacKender and Bro. Steve Miller will officiate with burial to follow in the Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Dwayne Withers, Nickey Kelley, Brent McRaney, Wesley Boleware, John Randall Pitts and Bradley Haas.
Mr. Reid was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Reid; parents, Odeis Edward and Evie Lee Reid; sister, Bonnie Reid and brother, Herbert Reid.
He is survived by his daughters, Amanda Walters of Seminary and Ashley (Stephen) Hartman of Ellisville; son, Jared (Carmen) Reid of Moselle; brothers, Lee Roy (Cathy) Reid of Petal and Melvin (Tina) Reid of Seminary; sisters, Joyce Berry of Petal, Brenda Reid of Seminary, Rosie (Dewayne) Gillis of Laurel and Audrey Chambliss of Petal; 11 grandchildren, Dauison, Mathew, Samuel, Peyton and Lucas Hartman all of Ellisville, J.D. and Olivia Wade of Seminary, Kayleigh, Madison, Leila and Hunter Reid all of Moselle.
Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 14, 2019, at Calvary Baptist Church in Seminary.
Jones and Son Funeral Home in Moselle is in charge of arrangements.
