Services will be held on Wednesday, August 12, 2020, at 3:00 p.m. for Mr. James Roy "Jamie" Pierce, age 70, of Richton, at Jones and Son Chapel in Richton.
Mr. Pierce passed away on August 9, 2020 at Forrest General Hospital. Bro. Charles Mayo will officiate with burial to follow in the Brown Cemetery. Pallbearers will be William Overstreet, Benjamin White, Micah Lott, Bryce Overstreet, Kaleb Overstreet, Curtis White, Mitchell Tucker and Ronnie Herrin.
Mr. Pierce was preceded in death by his parents, Rayburn and Annie Mae Pierce; sister, Nancy Overstreet; brothers, Robert Pierce and Melvin Pierce. He is survived by his sisters, Mary (Homer) Tucker, Ann Herrin; brother, Johnny (Shirley) Pierce, all of Richton.
Visitation will be Tuesday, August 11, 2020, 5:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at Jones and Son Funeral Home.
