Barbara Rose “Bobbie” Burrow, 76, of Purvis, passed away on Sunday, September 27, 2020, at her home. A visitation will be held from Thursday, October 1, 2020, 10:30 until 11:30 a.m. at the Purvis Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with the funeral service to immediately follow at 11:30 a.m. Interment to take place at a later date in Woodland Cemetery in Ashland, VA.
Mrs. Burrow was of the Baptist Faith. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Montevideo, MN for over 20 years. She learned to crochet at an early age and found much joy from doing it her whole life. She loved roses; her favorite were black roses. She loved poodles and was an avid Elvis Presley fan. She loved her family dearly, and will be greatly missed by them.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie and Virginia Critcher; her baby son, James William Stanley, Jr.; her son, James Bryant Stanley; her great-grandsons, Connor Scott Bond and Chad Bond, Jr.; three brothers; and two sisters.
She is survived by her husband, J.R. Burrow of Purvis, MS; two daughters, Pamela Rose Stanley Kempton of Purvis, MS, and Angela Maria (Brian) Devorak of Montevideo, MN; her grandchildren, Siabhon Lynn Nobles of Tekonsha, MI, Tracy Alvin (Jennifer) Kempton, Jr. of Laurel, MS, Lisha Nicole Devorak of Sioux Falls, SD, Dr. Elizabeth Rene’ Devorak and Fiancé Dr. Robert Billman of Hamburg, PA, and Charles Zackary Stanley of Columbia, MS; her great-grandchildren, Chloe Lynn Bond, Karoline Rose Kempton, and Kaitlyn Huddleston; her daughter-in-law, Michelle Stuckey Stanley of Columbia, MS; two sisters, Callie Mae Stanley of Purvis, and Libby Ann Thomas of Bumpus, VA.; and special friends, Sue Ripley, and Donita Ellington.
