James Phillip Creel, 90, of Ovett passed away on December 2, 2020, at the Perry County Nursing Home. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 5, 2020, at 1:30 p.m. at County Line Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Creel was a member of County Line Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Myrna C. Creel; and a son, William Roy Creel.
He is survived by a son, James Phillip “Phil” Creel, Jr. (Cindy) of Oak Grove; a daughter, Cindy Creel Bailey (John) of Ovett; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; a sister, Edwina White of Pascagoula; a brother, William Creel of Ovett; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Mr. Creel’s honor.
