Linda Faye Dixon Prescott, 76, of Petal, passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2020, at Forrest General Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, February 27, 2020, at the Petal Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with interment in Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery to follow.
Linda was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church who enjoyed cooking and gardening. She was a drafter for Bellsouth and retired after thirty years of service.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Alton and Ara Dixon and a brother, William A. Dixon.
Linda is survived by her son, Scott Prescott of Petal; three brothers, Marlon (Jewel) Dixon of Terry, MS, Thomas (Leta) Dixon of Richton, Kenneth (Brenda) Dixon of Saucier; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Linda will be 5:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday, February 22, 2020, at the Petal Chapel of Moore Funeral Home.
