Carolyn Justice, 73, of the Sunrise Community, passed away on Sunday, July 5, 2020, at Forrest General Hospital. A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, July 9, 2020, at Hillcrest Cemetery in Petal.
Carolyn was a member of Bible Baptist Church and was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening and outdoor activities. But more than anything, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Johnnie and Annie Yawn.
She is survived by her husband, James Justice of the Sunrise Community; two daughters, Darleen Ball of Petal, Beth Hensarling of Petal; two sons, Richard “Bud” Stewart of New Augusta, Chris Justice of Oak Grove; two brothers, Ralph (Doris) Yawn of Petal, John William Yawn of Petal; two sisters, Betty Ann Davenport of Rawls Springs, Katherine Jones of Petal; and nine grandchildren.
