Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, May 24, 2020, at Fairhope Missionary Baptist Church in Beaumont for Mrs. Barbara Letha Thomas, age 82, of Beaumont who passed from this life May 22, 2020, at her residence. Bro. Jerry Overstreet and Bro. Wendell Helton will officiate with burial to follow in the Fairhope Cemetery.
Mrs. Thomas was a member of the Fairhope Missionary Baptist Church in Beaumont. She was a former member of the Arlington Garden Club. She was preceded in death by her son, Matthew Thomas; parents, Luke and Cindy Parker.
She is survived by her husband, Marvin Thomas of Beaumont; daughter, Becky Thomas (Richie) Price of Oak Grove; sons, Greg (Debarah) Thomas of Beaumont and Daniel (Debra) Thomas of Flowood; grandchildren, Matt Thomas, Gretchen Bryars, Maressa Thomas, Marlena Smith, Amy Thomas, Aaron Thomas, Ashton Price, Madeline Price and Cole Price; great-great children, Stoney Dearman, Kye Seymour, Laken Thomas, Keenan Thomas, Isabella Bryars and Missy Smith; and brother, Lavelle (Sandra) Parker of Beaumont.
Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Saturday, May 23, 2020, at Jones and Son funeral Home in Richton.
