Thomas J. “Tommy” Thompson, 73, of Petal, passed away on Wednesday, February 19, 2020, at Forrest General Hospital. Graveside services will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 22, 2020, at Hillcrest Cemetery.
Tommy was a retired taxi driver who was a lifetime member of the VFW. He had served his Country in the U.S. Army during the Viet Nam War.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Theron and Martha Thompson and a grandchild.
He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer (Scott) Vallentine of Branchville, S.C.; and two sisters, Donna (Randy) King and Vickie (Bill) Criddle, both of Petal; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
