On March 11, 2023, at approximately 7:14 p.m., officers responded to a call of shots fired in the 900 block of Dr. Deborah Hyde Ave.

While at the scene, it was reported that a male subject was at South Central Regional Medical Center Emergency Room suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg.

A short time later a male victim suffering from two gunshot wounds was located deceased at the rear of the property on Dr. Deborah Hyde Ave.

Ellisha Clement, 21 years of age, of Ellisville and Benjamin Crisp, 19 years of age, of Laurel were arrested after treatment at SCRMC.

Crisp stands charged with one count of Murder and one count of Drive by Shooting. Clement stands charged with one count of Accessory after the Fact of Drive by Shooting.

Both suspects had their initial appearance in Laurel Municipal Court Monday which saw Crisps' bond set at $150,000 and Clement's at $10,000.

Inv. Brad Anderson is the lead in the case.
