WAUPACA, Wis. – “The benefits of grazing are immense,” says Rylee Nelson in her speech to grazing planners at a recent field day at Cavern Point Farm in Stratford, Wisconsin. “Grazing sequesters carbon in soil and builds soil structure with the organic matter and residue left behind by plants and livestock. This helps keep soil in place rather than eroding away.”
