The Jones County Sheriff's Department captured wanted subject Sandy Tucker on Friday afternoon on Ira G. Odom Road in the Johnson Community following tips and leads from the public.

Ms. Tucker was wanted by JCSD on a charge of Possession of Methamphetamine With Intent To Distribute. She was listed in local newspaper publications and television news stories and featured on December 18, 2020 on the JCSD Facebook page "Felon Friday" post.

JCSD Narcotics Division Sergeant Jake Driskell notes, "We thank the public for the tips and leads that led to Sandy Tucker's capture. We are relentless in our pursuit of those who are involved with illegal drugs in Jones County. Just know that our narcotics agents are always on the lookout for those dealing and using illegal narcotics here."

Sandy Tucker was arrested and booked into the Jones County Adult Detention Facility on Tuesday afternoon pending her Initial Appearance hearing in Jones County Justice Court.
