Dozens of motorcycles, along with police officers throughout the Jones County Sheriff's Department and Laurel Police Department helped escort Richard Headrick, the owner of Headrick Signs and the creator of Mission at the Cross by Hellfighter’s USA, and ultimately to Jones and Son funeral home in Ellisville this afternoon.
Headrick passed away Monday after a long battle with cancer.

Jennifer Prince spoke about Headrick and what he meant to not only his employees but to the community as well.
“He had a major impact on everyone’s lives. He had this infectious smile that you couldn’t help but smile back. You knew he loved Jesus,” said Pine. “All of these dreams he had, they came true. Look at how many people he helped, he touched so many lives.”
Many were in attendance to watch the ceremony at Hellfighters, which has turned into a thriving business in Laurel.
Prince recalled the last time she saw Headrick, who radiated a smile despite his battle with cancer.
“It was roughly three weeks ago. He was laughing and talking. He was so happy. He was so glad to see everyone like he always was. He would always hug you and love you. Richard had a magnetic personality and he wanted to work hard for you. He wanted you to follow his lead because he was a make it happen kind of guy.”
