Burglaries were reported Sunday and Monday at Trinity Heights Church in the 6900 block of U.S. Hwy. 49 that resulted in three arrests by Hattiesburg Police officers.
Around 3:30 a.m. Monday morning, police found two men inside the building and took them into custody. The suspects identified are William Marshal, 50, and Thomas Ashwell, 40, both of Hattiesburg.
Each was charged with one count of burglary and booked into the Forrest County Jail.
Before the two were apprehended, Nathan Kilpatrick, 34, of Moselle was apprehended at approximately 1 a.m. Sunday at the church. Police believe the two incidents are connected. Kilpatrick was arrested and charged with one count of burglary. He was booked at the Forrest County Jail.
