Hattiesburg police officers located a male shooting victim at approximately 9 p.m. Thursday in the 600 block of North 31st Avenue before he was taken to a local hospital.
Hattiesburg Police Department Public Information Officer Ryan Moore said the apparent gunshot wound to the leg was not life-threatening. The investigation is continuing.
