Breaking news from the Jones County Sheriff's Department.
Jones County Sheriff's department wanted subject Demetrius Omar Nabors, who was wanted for Aggravated Assault on a Jones County Sheriff's Department deputy, surrendered himself at the Jones County Adult Detention Facility.
Nabors allegedly fled the scene on Sharon-Sandersville Road after the violent vehicular assault, later crashing and abandoning his vehicle. The deputy, whose name has been withheld, was treated at South Central Regional Medical Center earlier this week for his injuries and released pending further medical tests with specialists.
