A 29-year-old Petal man was arrested Thursday by Metro Narcotics Task Force members with a stolen weapon.
Zachariah Smallwood was arrested and charged with possession of a stolen weapon. Metro agents recovered a stolen handgun during a traffic stop at East Hardy and Gulfport Street in Hattiesburg.
Hattiesburg Police Department Public Information Officer Ryan Moore said Smallwood was booked into the Forrest County Correctional Facility.
