According to the National Weather Service in Jackson, Mississippi, Jones County is under a risk for severe weather Wednesday morning.
Jones County will have a marginal risk of:
- Isolated severe storms possible
- Damaging wind gusts
- A tornado can't be ruled out
Isolated severe thunderstorms will be possible Wednesday as a frontal boundary moves through the region. The main risk will be for damaging wind gusts, but we cannot rule out the threat of a tornado.
