A 26-year-old Chicago woman was arrested Wednesday morning by Hattiesburg police officers after a shooting was reported that it occurred Tuesday night.
Mikequera Randolph was taken into custody around 11:30 a.m. in the 1600 block of Broadway Drive. She has been charged with two counts of aggravated assault and one count of possession of a stolen firearm. She was booked into the Forrest County Correctional Facility, said NPD Public Information Officer Ryan Moore.
Police responded Wednesday morning to an individual who wanted to report a shooting the previous night in the 200 block of Broadway Drive at the Dumas Apartments. Officers were told a shooting occurred outside an apartment after a verbal altercation.
A vehicle was struck during the incident; however, no injuries were reported.
