A 15-year-old Hattiesburg juvenile was arrested Thursday after the youth allegedly used a gun to steal a cellphone and Dodge Charger.
Hattiesburg Police responded to the incident in the 2500 block of Lincoln Road before 10 p.m. When they looked for the vehicle, it was located near Bonhomie Road and Country Club Road, wrecked in a ditch.
The suspect tried to run from the vehicle and was taken into custody. The juvenile was charged with grand larceny auto and armed robbery, and booked into the Forrest County Correctional Facility.
The incident was considered to be a predetermined meet-up between the individuals.
