The Covington County Sheriff's Office arrested the last two men from a 12-suspect drug roundup.

Bonds for Jeffery “Grady” Holloway and Zachary “Too Tall” Byrd Bonds were set Tuesday for Holloway at $300,000 and Byrd for $150,000 by Justice Court Judge Bobby Wayne Mooney.

Twelve individuals that possessed and/or selling illegal narcotics were arrested Nov. 10 during an operation where the Sheriff’s Office had arrest warrants for 11 individuals that were involved. Of the 11 original individuals that had warrants, eight were arrested and charged during the operation.

Deputies also arrested four other individuals throughout the day for felony possession of a controlled substance as well as other charges. Also, five individuals who were arrested for misdemeanor charges including possession paraphernalia and justice court warrants.

A total of about 50 grams of methamphetamine, 120 grams of marijuana, three grams of crack cocaine, some prescription pills, and two handguns were seized during this operation.

The Smith County Sheriff’s Department also assisted in this operation.
