A one vehicle accident on Monday, February 4 has claimed the life of two year old Curneshea Robinson of Forest, MS.
According to MHP Public Affairs Officer Andy West, the vehicle was traveling south bound on Hwy. 35 north of Raleigh when the driver, 40 year old Anthony Robinson also of Forest went off the west bound shoulder over corrected and rolled the vehicle. The car, a 1997 Ford came to rest in an upright position in the north bound lane facing east. Robinson was ejected and transported to UMC via AirCare. Two year old Curneshea, who was a passenger in the back seat was also ejected and prounounced deceased via transport. Three other passengers, including two children were also transported to UMC with moderate injuries.
None of the victims were wearing seatbelts except one that was in a carseat.
