Tribal Chief Cyrus Ben of the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians made a very generous $10,000 donation on behalf of the Choctaw people to the Jones County Sheriff’s Department on Wednesday.
Sheriff Joe Berlin notes, “We greatly appreciate this financial donation to the Jones County Sheriff’s Department presented by Tribal Chief Cyrus Ben. We have a fantastic working relationship with the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians and Tribal Chief Ben and look forward to continuing to enhance that relationship in the days, months, and years ahead."
