A local suspect is in custody after shooting a firearm into a home, nearly hitting a child.
Ethan Jordan, 24, of Laurel, has been charged with five counts of shooting into a dwelling, aggravated assault, and possession of a stolen firearm after the arrest was made Friday evening.
Jordan was suspected of shooting into apartments on Brown Circle and 12th Avenue on Wednesday and Thursday night before his arrest was made.
Investigators Michelle Howell and Josh Freeman arrived at the location, multiple suspects fled the scene,. however, all were caught.
Jordan had already been arrested June and charged with a convicted felon in possession of a firearm charge which is a felony conviction.
Laurel Municipal Court Judge Kyle Robertson has set Jordan’s bond at $455,000.
