A 29-year-old woman who was charged with felony child abuse has been captured by the Jones County Sheriff’s Department.
According to the JCSD, Ashley Ann Pace was captured on Nobles Road in the Myrick community Tuesday.
The Jones County Sheriff’s Department credits tips and leads that ultimately led to her arrest. Pace was featured on the JCSD “Felon Friday” wanted person.
Pace was wanted after a referral from Child Protective Services after alleged drug abuse while pregnant. A drug test confirmed that Pace had abused methamphetamine while pregnant. A warrant was later issued for her arrest.
