A 27-year-old Hattiesburg man was arrested by police with an alleged stolen firearm at the intersection of 25th Avenue and Fourth Street about 9:45 p.m. Thursday.
Adrian Cole was arrested and charged with possession of a stolen firearm, according to HPD Public Information Officer Ryan Moore.
Officers seized a rifle from Cole during the arrest. Cole was booked into the Forrest County Jail.
