To show their appreciation for law enforcement officers Darren and Cindy Renz, owners of Service Masters of Laurel, set up tables, decorated their shop, and invited all law enforcement officers in Laurel, Jones County, Ellisville, Soso, and Sandersville to drop by and enjoy a meal catered by The Gables in Laurel. The menu included Shepherd’s Pie, Chicken Alfredo, green beans, roll, and bread pudding.
“They put their life on the line every day. This is the least we can do for our officers,” exclaimed Cindy.
This "Back the Blue" decorated tree is located in the Service Masters of Laurel office and stays up year-round.
She and Darren also feel strongly about giving back to the community. They often give monetary donations to local organizations, including the Veterans Memorial Museum in Laurel.
On Fridays, they honor the military by wearing red shirts. There is a "Back the Blue" decorated tree in their office that stays up all year.
“I couldn’t imagine doing their job day after day,” stated Cindy. “I really feel strongly about what they do to help us!”
