The Jones County Sheriff's Department website "Most Wanted" section has helped lead to the arrests of 75 wanted individuals since the JCSD website went live on March 5, 2020.
Jones County Sheriff Joe Berlin notes, "We attribute the resounding success in locating and arresting our "Most Wanted" subjects to outstanding and thorough local news media coverage and high levels of interest in our new JCSD website and Facebook page which has led to tips from residents and subjects turning themselves in."
He adds, "We are still seeking a number of "Most Wanted" individuals and some of those have proven difficult to locate. However, rest assured that we will not tire and we will not cease in our efforts to bring them in to face justice."
Residents may view the JCSD "Most Wanted' section of the website by visiting www.jonesso.com and clicking on the "Most Wanted" tab on the front page of the website.
