The Leadership Planning Committee announced that the 2020 Class of Leadership Jones County is a reunion class. Each participant has been through the program before. Sandy Holifield, Leadership Jones County program director, said the class participants will plan the sessions themselves and will not work on community project as the classes in the past have done. The class held their orientation and ice breaker session on Thursday, November 14, and the next day participated in the traditional retreat session. After hearing the group discussions at the retreat, Holifield said, “Some of the session topics will most likely include workforce, volunteerism, communication skills, and working with different age co-workers.” The 2020 Leadership Jones County Reunion Class includes Brynn Strickler, homemaker, Sylvia Clark, Hunt Southland Refining, Jeannine Agee, Laurel School District, Charlotte Gibbs-Williams, Laurel Housing Authority, Ben Cole, Alfa Insurance, Diane Shoemake, Clark & Associates, Ashley Rae, Sanderson Farms, Peggy Padilla, SouthGroup, Christy Drennan, Dunn Roadbuilders, Pollyanna Magee, Dixie Electric, Chris Ishee, Community Bank, and Anna Thornton, Wayne Farms.
