Back in the spring of this year on April 26, the Laurel Police Department received a report of a credit card fraud where it was alleged that the suspect used a stolen credit card at several local businesses.
Over four months later authorities nabbed the suspect. On Tuesday, September 3, Gulf Coast Community College police assisted the LPD in arresting Keith Arrington Jr. (18 years of age). Arrington was transported to Laurel and charged with one count of credit card fraud, according to information released by LPD Chief Tommy Cox.
Arrington had his initial appearance in Laurel Municipal Court on Wednesday, and his bond was set at $5,000. Any persons with information about this or any other case are encouraged to call LPD at 601-399-4440 or Crime Stoppers at 601-428-STOP.
