A 28-year-old convicted felon was arrested Hattiesburg police officers Wednesday when he had a weapon.
Justin Pittman of Hattiesburg was arrested at Highway 49 and 31st Avenue about 4:45 p.m., according to HPD Public Information Officer Ryan Moore.
Officers seized a handgun during the arrest, and Pittman was charged with possession of a weapon by a convicted felon and fugitive from another jurisdiction.
Pittman was booked into the Forrest County Correctional Facility.
