A trip to the dollar store didn't turn out how one "Most Wanted" suspect from Jones County wanted it to as he was apprehended by deputies Friday afternoon.
Bryan Kevin Cooley, wanted by the Jones County Sheriff's Department on three narcotics charges, has been captured. Cooley walked into the Dollar General store in Calhoun late this afternoon and was immediately recognized by off-duty JCSD Narcotics Agent Joel Brogan who was in line checking out.
Cooley was in possession of five grams of methamphetamine and will be charged with Possession Of A Controlled Substance With Intent To Distribute.
He is already facing three counts of Possession Of A Controlled Substance With Intent To Distribute Within 1,500 Feet Of A School.
Sheriff Joe Berlin noted in a press release sent by the department, "Great job by Narcotics Agent Joel Brogan in being attentive and recognizing Mr. Cooley as wanted and taking him into custody. We are cleaning up the illegal narcotics dealers one at a time in Jones County."
Sheriff Berlin closed, "The phrase 'Cleanup on aisle 1' has a special meaning following this arrest."
Cooley will be booked into the Jones County Adult Detention Facility.
