A tip led Jones County Sheriff's Department deputies to a location in Jones County on Sunday where an absconded Texas sex offender was located, per a press release from the department.

Jones County deputies arrested the suspect, Quinton Clark, who had felony warrants from four Texas counties - Burnet, Live Oak, Llano, and Kinney - and who was wanted for Failure To Register as a Sex Offender in each county.

Clark is being held at the Jones County Sheriff's Department Adult Detention Facility on a Warrant from another Agency charge. Officials in Burnet County, Texas are requesting his extradition.

"Great job by our Patrol Division on quickly following up on a tip on Quinton Clark's location and making the arrest," noted Jones County Sheriff Joe Berlin in the press release.

He added, "We are cooperating fully with Texas authorities to have him returned to face justice. The Texas Sex Offender Registry shows Clark's original charge as Aggravated Sexual Assault and that he was considered to be a Moderate Risk."
