A traffic stop on J.B. Horne Road in the Brooklyn Community led to a short pursuit on Oct. 1, when Forrest County Sheriff’s Deputies detained two suspects.
After drugs and paraphernalia were discovered, a Hattiesburg man and a Lumberton woman were subsequently arrested.

Daniel Joseph Hobson, 32, of Hattiesburg, was charged with Possession of Controlled Substance, Possession of Paraphernalia, and Disorderly Conduct.
Rebecca Leigh Gibson, 40, of Lumberton, was charged with Possession of Controlled Substance and Possession of Paraphernalia.
Hobson and Gibson were transported and booked into the Forrest County Correctional Facility, according to Scott Lees, Forrest County Public Information Officer.
