Aliyah Eaton is a junior at Forrest County Agricultural High School. She is an active member of the National Honor Society, BETA Club and is President of the FCAHS chapter of Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA).
In March, Aliyah was the first student from the Southern Region to be elected as a State Officer in FCCLA and with this position, came the opportunity to serve as FCCLA National Committee Member for the 19-20 school year
Aliyah is an excellent student and assisted with CTE recruitment activities this year. She designed a PowerPoint slideshow and paired that with an oral presentation to share with eighth grade students who toured CTE programs on the FCAHS campus.
Outside of school, Aliyah is active in organizations to help her community. She is a member of the Ivy Pearls and is chaplain for the Hattiesburg chapter. In addition, she is a member of the Hattiesburg Mayor's Youth Council and participates in many community service projects annually including park clean-up days and visits to local nursing homes. She plans to pursue a degree in Social Work at the University of Southern Mississippi after graduating from FCAHS in May 2020.
