A 38-year-old Hattiesburg man who was driving a Ford Fiesta was pronounced dead at the scene of a two-car accident early Monday in the wooded area in the 200 block of Thornhill Drive in Lamar County.
Dustin McFill was reported as the victim, while two other female passengers with injuries were transported from the scene. The driver of a Mazda 6 was also transported from the scene with injuries that were not life-threatening.
Hattiesburg Police responded to the traffic accident report about 2:45 a.m. Monday.
Lamar County Coroner Blake Matherne is continuing an investigation into the fatal accident.
