On Saturday, April 20 at approximately 11:15 a.m., Laurel Police Department officers responded to an assault complaint in the 2000 block of Airport Drive.
Officers located a male victim suffering from a single stab wound to the neck area. The victim was transported to SCRMC with non-life-threatening injuries. At the same time, Officer Josh Welch conducted a traffic stop on the suspect’s vehicle on Ellisville Boulevard behind LPD. Davion J. Jordan was taken into custody and now faces one count of aggravated assault.
