A Seminary woman is being held in the Covington County Jail on a $100,000 bond. She is facing felony assault and possession charges after her arrest Friday afternoon.
Lacey Magee was arrested for simple assault on a school official and possession of contraband in a correctional facility.
Covington County Sheriff Darrell Perkins said the Covington County School District filed the assault charge. Contraband was confiscated at the Covington County Jail, Perkins said, but no details were available.
Covington County Circuit Judge Bobby Wayne Mooney set the bond for each charge at $50,000.
