Four Pine Belt men – three from Hattiesburg and one from Sumrall – are being sought Thursday on active arrest warrants in the shooting that occurred about 12:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 900 block of Dabbs Street. One man was injured and he drove himself to a local hospital.
Authorities said they believe a drug deal was involved. The men include: Heath “H.A. Bland, 26, of Sumrall, who is wanted for hindering prosecution; Raymarcus “Smoke Loc” Holliman, 29, of Hattiesburg, who is wanted for armed robbery, aggravated assault and criminal street gang activity; Jamichael J-Smoove” Perkins, 23, also of Hattiesburg, who has active arrest warrants for armed robbery and criminal street gang activity; and Kenny “Scoota Loc” Haynes, 30, also of Hattiesburg, who has active arrest warrants for armed robbery and criminal street gang activity.
Sumrall and Hattiesburg women were arrested Wednesday and charged in connected with the shooting, Lauren Johnson, 25, of Sumrall was arrested and charged with hindering prosecution, while Hailey Jones, 20, of Hattiesburg was arrested and charged with hindering prosecution and possession of a controlled substance (meth).
