A 42-year-old Petal woman turned herself in to the Forrest County Sheriff’s Office on Thursday afternoon after a probable cause hearing in Circuit Court was waived.
Rebekah George was charged with sexual battery and two counts of lustful touching that allegedly occurred with a student at the Youth Challenge Academy.
A $25,000 bond was set for all three charges.
George was booked into the Forrest County Correctional Facility.
