A pedestrian was struck by a train and killed about 10:15 p.m. Monday on the Tatum Road crossing near Satchel Road in southern Hattiesburg.
Hattiesburg Police reported that a deceased male was discovered at the scene.
No other information was available late Monday, Public Information Officer Ryan Moore said.
