A 48-year-old Hattiesburg man was arrested and charged with grand larceny after an air conditioner unit stolen from an apartment complex was discovered in his truck.
Secory Smith was booked into the Forrest County Jail on Monday, June 17, after Hattiesburg Police responded to a report of a stolen air conditioner unit from an apartment complex in the 1800 block of Country Club Road at about 11:15 p.m. After the AC unit was discovered in Smith’s truck, he was taken into custody.
The air conditioner unit was recovered from the pickup truck.
