A 35-year-old Hattiesburg man was arrested Tuesday in the June 23 shooting and armed robbery of the Family Quick Shop on 1107 Franklin St.
Brian Fairley was arrested and charged with armed robbery and aggravated assault. He was wanted in a Hattiesburg Police ongoing shooting/armed robbery investigation.
A store employee was shot at after the suspect displayed a handgun demanding money; then he fled the scene. The store employee was taken to a local hospital to be treated for his injury, which was not believed to be life-threatening.
Fairley has been booked into the Forrest County Jail.
