A 39-year-old man is wanted in the shooting death of a 27-year-old Hattiesburg man early Thursday in the Seminary area. The Covington County Sheriff’s Department gave details on the shooting suspect.
Charles “Biloxi Gee/Biloxi George” Chevalier is wanted for the shooting death in the early morning hours Thursday. He was last seen driving a dark-colored 2020 Toyota RAV4, possibly with a Kentucky tag. He is considered armed.
Braxton Lott of Hattiesburg was located after being shot at a mobile home on Woodbridge Lane in Seminary, according to Covington County Coroner Christopher DaQuila.
“His girlfriend and another man took him to the Covington County Hospital’s emergency room,” he said. “The medical staff worked on him, but it was unable to help. He died at 2:12 a.m. from a single-shot gunshot to the chest.”
Covington County Sheriff Darrell Perkins said Chevalier is listed on the National Crime Information Center as wanted for the charge of murder.
