A 38-year-old Hattiesburg man was arrested about 6 a.m. Wednesday after police discovered the suspect’s traveling partner was shot in the 5800 block of U.S. Hwy.49.
Knox Flowers was taken into custody at the scene after he allegedly argued with the victim, which led to the shooting. The injury was not life-threatening.
Flowers was charged with aggravated assault and booked into the Forrest County Jail.
