UPDATE: Laurel Police Chief Tommy Cox reports that the suspect his department was looking for yesterday has turned himself in to authorities. The chief said that Brian Maples, age 28, is now in custody. The suspect is from Bentonia, Miss.
Cox said that the suspect will appear before a judge this weekend for his initial appearance. He faces a charge of felony credit card fraud.
