(June 3, 2020, UPDATE): A 22-year-old Hattiesburg woman who was already in custody in the death of Rhakim James that occurred on May 24 had her charge upgraded Wednesday.
Veenesha Snow had the charge of accessory after the fact of murder added Wednesday. She was arrested May 31 and charged then with hindering prosecution.
Also arrested May 31 was Laquon Fluker, 26, of Meridian who was charged with hindering prosecution. On Monday, that charge was upgraded to murder.
Both individuals are suspects in the ongoing homicide investigation of James that occurred on May 24 in the 1100 block of Franklin Street.
